If you identify as an Empath, Intuitive, and/or Highly Sensitive Person, you might have heard of or even experienced for yourself what’s known as compassion fatigue, especially over the last few years.
Loving Kindness, Compassion, & Giving are three beautiful and powerful altruistic motivations.
But when they are only given towards others an imbalance can be created that may leave you feeling worn out, resentful, and even ill.
The giving of love and compassion to others needs to happen AND it must be given to yourself as well in order to be healthy, nourishing, and sustainable.
The old Adage “You can’t pour from empty cup” is true.
(Trust me….I have tried, and it does not work😘)
This is a friendly reminder: Check-in to see where you might be giving Loving Kindness & Compassion to others but perhaps not yourself and vice versa.
